Ledger Botje was born from practice. As builders of warehouse and administration software, we kept seeing the same pattern at our customers: all business data sits neatly in Exact Online, but anyone who wants an answer has to click, filter and export. When the Model Context Protocol (MCP) appeared - the open standard that lets AI assistants talk securely to external systems - the direction was clear: give business owners direct answers from their own administration, in plain language.

Today Ledger Botje connects Exact Online with 292 MCP tools to more than nine AI platforms — including ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Claude, Google Gemini, Mistral, Perplexity, Grok, Cursor and OpenClaw, plus any other MCP-compatible assistant. From stock questions to production planning and from outstanding invoices to cash flow: you ask the question, the AI assistant retrieves the answer.

Founder

Frank Woutersen is the founder of Ledger Botje and writes about AI, MCP and Exact Online. He helps businesses manage their administration smarter with AI assistants.

Frank has been building software for warehouse and administration processes around Exact Online for over a decade, including the Barcode Scan App for inventory management with barcode scanning. That hands-on experience with order flows, inventory logistics and accounting is the foundation of every Ledger Botje tool.

With Ledger Botje he focuses on how SMEs can connect AI to their ERP safely and practically: reading and writing via MCP, secured with OAuth 2.1 on European servers. On the blog he regularly shares real-world examples.

Ledger Botje is a product of Industrial IT, a Dutch software company from Ugchelen focused on practical automation for trade, manufacturing and logistics. Besides Ledger Botje, Industrial IT also builds Bouw Botje (AI integration for Exact Online Construction).
