Changelog: what is new in Ledger Botje

Every change to the MCP integration between Exact Online and your AI assistant, dated and explained in terms of what you notice.

New

Realised hours and overrun in project search

When you search projects you now see realised hours alongside budgeted hours, plus whether the project is running over. Previously you had to query time registration separately.

New

Webhooks and a summary of hours and costs per project

Exact Online can now push changes through webhooks, so the cache stays current sooner. A new tool also summarises hours and costs per project, so you no longer have to fetch every individual line.

Improvement

Suggestions when a search returns nothing

When a search returns nothing, the AI assistant now receives a shortlist of phonetically similar records. That saves the assistant from trying ten spelling variants of the same customer name.

New

Upload documents from your AI assistant

You can now attach documents to Exact Online from the conversation, for example a purchase invoice you just received. The file is staged briefly and removed after use.

Security

Two cases of data exposure closed

Under some conditions, error messages could reveal administration data and a database name. Both are now shielded, and a GUID format check was added.

Improvement

More reliable token refresh

With simultaneous requests, OAuth token refreshes could collide. That now happens under a lock, so only one refresh runs per administration at a time.

Improvement

Nightly synchronisation of the data cache

The cache is refreshed in the evening using the day's remaining API budget. As a result your administration is current in the morning without your first question waiting on a refresh.

Fixed

Better handling of the Exact Online call limit

When the Exact Online daily call limit is reached, it is now handled gracefully and retried at the right moment instead of surfacing as an error.
