How the connection works: 3 steps
Setting up automation with AI takes less than five minutes:
Step 1: Create your Ledger Botje account
Go to the pricing page and choose a plan. The Basic plan (€39/month) includes read access; the Advanced plan (€59/month) adds full write access for true automation.
Step 2: Connect Exact Online
During onboarding, you connect your Exact Online administration via OAuth. You log in to Exact Online and grant permission — Ledger Botje never sees your password.
Step 3: Add the MCP server to your AI tool
Copy the MCP server URL into your AI assistant’s settings. Detailed instructions are on the MCP setup page. Once connected, you can start giving commands immediately.
Which AI tools work with Ledger Botje?
Any AI tool that supports the MCP protocol can connect. The most popular options:
- ChatGPT — the most widely used AI assistant, great for quick tasks and conversational queries
- Microsoft Copilot — ideal if your organisation already uses Microsoft 365
